I am Hank Orion – screenwriter, director and producer.

I was born in Western Ukraine. My journey began in Italy, where I was raised and initially honed my artistic skills through painting. This early immersion in art paved the way for my true passion – filmmaking.

I started my film career in London, eventually making my way to Los Angeles. My beginnings as a cinematographer, particularly in the realm of music videos and no-budget films, significantly shaped my style. The fast-paced environment taught me to thrive under pressure and sharpened my creative instincts, which I now bring to every project I undertake.

These days, you’ll find me running around with a camera, doing what I love most—making films. When I’m not filming, I’m teaching filmmaking workshops in London, Los Angeles, and online, as well as creating content for my YouTube channel.
